When Should Samples, Slabs, and Equipment Enter a TISE Booth?

Samples, slabs, and equipment should not enter a TISE booth at the same stage. Samples usually follow completed display hardware and graphics, slabs need an open placement path and prepared support, and equipment should reach its final operating position before required services are connected and testing begins. The sequence should follow what each product depends on—not simply when the freight reaches the hall.

A sample wall, a stone slab, and a machine may share the same exhibit, but installing them at the wrong point can create very different problems. Samples brought in too early may be handled repeatedly, a slab placed too late may lose its access route, and a machine can be physically inside the booth while still waiting on power, plumbing, connectivity, or testing.

Here, display ready means the fixtures, graphics, labels, and storage that support the product are settled enough for final merchandising.

A booth can already be standing while its product presentation is still changing. As installation progresses, walls, counters, flooring, display structures, or other equipment can narrow that path, so a booth may look closer to completion while becoming harder to move a large slab through.

A practical sequence is:

Placement Access → Support or Mounting Area Ready → Slab Positioning → Surrounding Work → Inspection Readiness

The receiving area and support condition should be ready before the slab is moved into position. That reduces the chance of repositioning heavy material while surrounding construction continues.

For large stone, the more useful question may be when access disappears, not when booth construction is officially complete. Slab placement may need to happen before adjacent structures or finishes are closed out simply because the same material will be much harder to move later.
